Hi Welcome to Week two of Golden Key Monday. This Week I will posting my review of Book 2 Candra's Freedom! (WARNING THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SOME SPOILERS FOR BOOK ONE)
SYNOPSIS
Praise for Rowena’s Key, the first instalment in The Golden Key Chronicles:
‘Incredibly tantalizing’ – Love Reading Romance
‘This is a fantasy romance novel that should definitely be on your TBR list.’ – She Loves to Read
‘I don’t usually read fantasies, but I may have to start, because this one was wonderful.’ – JM Stewart
The key would unlock his future and the safety of his kingdom, but he never imagined the sorceress would unlock his heart…
Lost in a world she doesn't recognize, Rowena struggles to find her place.
Yet her abilities with a blade and the loyalty of a fierce falcon don't discourage the heated advances of the handsome Prince Caedmon, and the connection between them seems much deeper than her troubled heart can recall.
Book 2 in the breathtaking new Fantasy Romance series from AJ Nuest!
REVIEW
Candra's Freedom was an amazing follow up to Rowena Key, the first book in the Golden Key Chronicles series. We follow are two main characters Rowena and Caedmon who have just been reunited after two years of being apart.
Rowena as you know from the end of book one lost her memories the minute she crossed through the magical mirror .So she does not remember a lot about her relationship with Caedmon and these last two year in the castle without him present haven't been the best experience for her (I really wanted to give Rowena a hug ). What I loved is how she dealt with it , I am so happy that she had some people in the castle that had her back and that she did what she needed to do to make sure she could train with royal guard so that she would never be defenseless ( at this point I was gave her all the high five's lol ) her strength and determination was just amazing! . Reading about the final test that Rowena had to do to complete her training had me at the edge of my seat it was so good !! so action packed !

Rowena and Caedmon relationship in this book was really strained but you can understand why with her memory being gone and him being away for two years ( omg when you hear what happen to him your gonna want to give him a hug too) you can understand why ,but the chemistry between Rowena and Caedmon was still there and Iam rooting for these two.I cant wait to see what will happen next in book 3 of the Golden Key Chronicles .
