**This is book w in the Logan & Kayla Saga–a second-chance romance. Must read This is Dangerous first. However, you don’t need to read any of the other Checkmate duet series to enjoy this one, but it’s recommended as they are both introduced in the earlier books.**
I love Kennedy Fox books !! , I literally count down the days between every release so you can just imagine how excited I was when I got a ARC of Checkmate this is Beautiful. I literally put aside every other responsibility that I could put off and dive into this book and I loved it so much .
This book is the second part of Logan and Kayla story and after the way part one ended I was so worried to see what would happened next . If you are reading this review than I assume that you have read This is Dangerous but just in case you didn't dont worry I wont spoil it for you but what I will say is the ending of that book was a heartbreaking cliffhanger. I even remember what I said when I read it , I dont even think it was words as much as it was one of those chubacca war cries lol .I had all these different scenarios about what would happen next ,however the way Kennedy Fox wrote this story was better than anything I could have ever imagined. There was happy moments , sad moments , heartbreaking moments , funny moments I dont think I have ever read a book that made me feel these much emotion . I loved the journey that we went on Logan and Kayla I had no doubt in my mind about if they would find there way back to each other.I felt they got the perfect story it was sexy , fun , heartwarming and filled with so much emotion and heart .I still cant believe this is last book in the checkmate series I must say . I have such a bittersweet feeling about this because I am so happy with the way this series concluded .Iam happy that all my favorite characters in this series got there happily ever after but at the same time I dont want to let them go lol . I love Kennedy Fox and I cannot wait to devour there next book . I would recommend these books to anyone so if you have not ready any of the book in the Checkmate series go read them now and if you wondering if you should read Checkmate this is Beautiful the answer is YES go pick up that book as soon as you possibly can .
