ARC Book Review- As You Breathe Again by Molli Moran

SYNOPSIS
She's never had the courage to hold on to anyone. He never learned how to let go of what he wants. 

Delaney Shaw isn't looking for anything complicated. After her teaching career is put on hold, she decides to spend the summer in Georgia with her best friend. Lanie lives for the here and now, and she isn't thinking past the end of the summer. She's never had any problem being unattached, because she learned a long time ago that life is safer that way. 

Until Reece Walker decides to change her mind. 

Almost a year after his ex-wife's death, Reece is still reeling from her passing. He's devoted himself to raising their son and working his family's farm to keep himself grounded. Reece feels like he's lost sight of the man he used to be, and he's not sure how to find his way back. 

Everything changes when the woman he's unsuccessfully tried to forget walks back into his life. 

Even though she's fighting their sizzling chemistry, Lanie is losing the war. But love isn't always like it is in the movies, and they have real issues. Lanie is terrified Reece's small town won't accept their interracial relationship, and she doesn't know how to let him in. 

Lanie has had years to build her defenses, but Reece isn't the sort to give up without a fight. If he can counter Lanie's fears with the future only he can offer her, maybe they can both learn to breathe again. 

REVIEW

In As You Breathe Again  we follow Reece Walker and Delaney Shaw( also know as Lanie) . It was wonderful  diving back into this series . I loved  Reece and Lanie!! . Reece at the beginning  of this book  was going through  a pretty rough time dealing with  the death of his ex wife and mother of his child Hannah .I loved that we got  see him deal with his grief .We got  see his high points and his low points and I think that was very important to see. At the start of the book  Lanie's teaching career is on hold and she is slowly falling out of love with the city .You can see  that  Lanie wants  a change in her life and seeing  her take the necessary  steps she needed to take to get to where she wanted to be was wonderful.

 I loved watching  Reece and Lanie fall in love with each other .This was a interracial relationship and  I  felt that Molli Moran wrote it in a way that it felt very relatable  and realistic when it came to issues interracial couples face.These two were so honest with each other. I loved how much they communicated  , they didn't hide things or keep things bottled up ,they discussed whatever was bothering them  .They both were willing to work on becoming the best versions of themselves and  to get  rid of emotional baggage not just for themselves but for each other ,so they could give their relationship the best shot they could and it was just so good to see. 

As you Breathe Again by Molli Moran was amazing .It was romantic ,emotional , sweet ,sexy and  had so much heart.Iam looking forward to whatever  Molli Moran writes next . As You Breathe Again comes out on February 4th ,2016
