Book Review - As you Turn Away by Molli Moran

SYNOPSIS
Two hearts, one life-changing summer, and a long-awaited second chance...

When Quinnlan Reynolds left home at 18, she escaped her small, Georgia town and her suffocating upbringing. She started a new life as a ballerina, and tasted freedom for the first time. But four years later, her first visit home turns tragic. Reeling, Quinn tries to piece her life back together again. But doing so is easier said than done when sexy Jonah Walker saunters back into her life.

Quinn shattered Jonah’s heart once, so getting involved with her isn’t something he’s sure he’s ready to do again. He became someone he didn’t recognize when he left home. He’s spent the last years burying his pain by keeping everyone in his life at arm’s length. Now he needs to get to know his family again, and finally become who he wants to be.

But neither Quinn or Jonah can stay away from each other, especially when old feelings resurface. Something is pulling them back together, and they can’t deny their chemistry for long. One Georgia summer could change both their lives forever, if they can work through their past to have a future together.

REVIEW

As You Turn Away by Molli Moran is book one  in The  Walkers Boys  Series  which  follows   Quinn  and Jonah .It is set in a small town ! and if you  didn't  know this  I love small town romance !! .I loved
Quinn and Jonah !! it was   quite  an emotional  journey  with these two (I was rooting for  them so so hard) . I love that  the book  had  many  flash backs scene it  really  added to   the whole  story , you got  what happen in the   past when  Quinn and Jonah  were dating as teenagers in  the flashback  scenes and you got  to see them as adults  as well   .I loved watching the relationship  between Quinn and Jonah  evolve into  something  amazing.

I wanted to hug Quinn so  many times in this book . When I  found  out more about  her  childhood, her  very  strained relationship  with her parents  and then on top of that  dealing with the tragic events that took place  very early this book .  Seeing how   Quinn dealt with it  all felt  very  raw  and  realistic and  I think it was perfect for the book  . When  Quinn got to her personal  aha moment ,  I was  so happy  for  her  !!!. Jonah came   to  his home town  to  mend   the relationship with his family but  he ended up doing so much more ! . I loved  seeing  Jonah's  interactions with  all of the members of  his family. When you  read about them  you literally can feel the warmth , love and support in the Walker clan .

As you turn away  was  amazing it  literally pulled an " Iam the  Captain now" on my day lol  I cant  wait to  see what  Molli Moran has in store  for us  next in the Walker Boys series . It was romantic , emotional  and (  it  literally  punched me  in the feels lol ) & full of heart  !!  and  if you  love books  that include these  things  you  should  definitely  pick up  a copy .
