ARC Book Review - Then He Kissed Me By Laura Trentham
SYNOPSIS
Can two hearts come together in one divided town?
As a boy, Nash Hawthorne spent countless afternoons on the Louisiana side of Cottonbloom with Tally Fournette, wading in the river, peeling oranges and catching frogs. When illness stole his mother, Nash yearned to take Tally and run away—for good. Instead, he crossed the state line to live with his aunt. It was a short distance as the crow flies, but it swept him into a whole new world…
After Nash left, Tally managed to struggle through her own losses without him. But now that she’s crossed paths with him again—at Cottonbloom College, where the grown-up, gorgeous Nash teaches history—she is reminded of their cherished youthful connection…and an attraction that has only gotten stronger with age. Between Tally’s possessive ex and Nash’s snobbish aunt, no one thinks they belong together. In a town torn apart by old resentments and rivalries, can they find their way back to the life they once shared—and turn their long-lost dreams into a real and lasting love?

REVIEW
After reading book one in the Cottonbloom Series Kiss Me That Way I was dying to get my hands on book two in the series Then He Kissed Me so when I got the opportunity to read this book early I read it as soon as I possibly could and I loved it ! I could not put this book down , Then He Kissed Me gave me everything I have come to expect from a Laura Trentham story and so much more!
In this book we mainly follow Tally and Nash I was so excited that they were getting a book because I shipped them together as a couple from book one lol .I loved them together they were just so very very cute the romance between them was sweet , swoon worthy and sexy and these are all my favorite things in a romance .Watching them reconnect in this book was just wonderful, I love that both Tally and Nash were such resilient characters, despite what was handed to them by life they pushed through in hopes of achieving there goals ,I was so very happy with were we left them at the end of this book It gave me all of those Happily Ever After feels .I loved returning to the town of Cottonbloom and getting to see some familiar faces ,It was fun to see what everyone was up to.With the sweet, sexy, swoon worthy romance , the wonderful cast of characters and small town setting Laura Trentham has created another excellent contemporary romance with Then He Kissed Me .
Then He Kissed me was a sweet , sexy ,romantic , heartwarming , emotional story that was such a pleasure to read. I am very excited to get my hands on the next book in this series. If you love all these things in your books I suggest you get a copy when it comes out June 28,2016.
