ARC Book Review - Bedmates By Nichole Chase

SYNOPSIS

From the bestselling author of Suddenly Royal comes the first in a sparkling new series about America’s favorite royal—the First Daughter.

Everyone makes mistakes, especially in college. But when you’re the daughter of the President of the United States, any little slip up is a huge embarrassment. Maddie McGuire’s latest error in judgment lands her in police custody, giving the press a field day. Agreeing to do community service as penance and to restore her tattered reputation, Maddie never dreams incredibly good looking but extremely annoying vice president’s son, Jake Simmon, will be along for the ride.

Recently returning from Afghanistan with a life-altering injury, Jake is wrestling with his own demons. He doesn’t have the time or patience to deal with the likes of Maddie. They’re like oil and water and every time they’re together, it’s combustible. But there’s a thin line between love and hate, and it’s not long before their fiery arguments give way to infinitely sexier encounters.

When Jake receives devastating news about the last remaining member of his unit, the darkness he’s resisted for so long begins to overwhelm him. Scared to let anyone close, he pushes Maddie away. But she isn’t about to give up on Jake that easily. Maddie’s fallen for him, and she’ll do anything to keep him from the edge as they both discover that love is a battlefield and there are some fights you just can’t lose.

REVIEW

I loved Bedmates by Nichole Chase. Honestly I could go on and on about  how much I loved this story. When I got the chance to read this book early I was so excited and I got into the story as soon as I possibly could. I could not put this book down Bedmates is a fantastic start to the American Royalty series.

In this book we follow Maddie and Jake I love these two characters. Maddie is the president's daughter and Jake is the vice president son  and due to some circumstances they have to work together and this is where things between them begin to change. Maddie is more of a free-spirited person and with her father being the president sometimes the things she does tends to garner negative attention. The best way to describe this is that she has good intentions but sometimes goes about  doing things the wrong way. Jake is just getting back from war and suffering with all the effects from  that. I felt like them working together was the best thing for both of them .The romance in this  book was fantastic I love this relationship between Maddie and Jake ,Nicole Chase creates sweet ,sexy and swoon worthy moments between these two that are bound to make you have the biggest smile on your face and root for them no matter what happens in this book. I became so invested in the story I needed to see the characters achieve what they wanted to achieve ,fall in love and have their own happily ever after and that's exactly what I got from this book. There was so much things going on in this story ,I felt like I was immersed in the world of Washington DC politics. This story held on to me and did not let go until I got to the last page. With a sexy romance, intriguing characters and all the politics Nicole Chase created a fantastic story with Bedmates.

Bedmates was a sexy, heartwarming story. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in the American Royalty series ,this book is just amazing!it gave me everything I could possibly want from a story and so much more. If you love all these things in your romance I suggest you get a copy when it comes out October 4, 2016.
