About Luca
Luca is the second book in a full-length, standalone series by New York Times bestselling author, Sarah Castille, set in Las Vegas and featuring deliciously sexy mafia bosses and the women who can’t help but love them. Luca Rizzoli was nearly destroyed by a brutal betrayal that cost him his family. Now a ruthless crime boss in Las Vegas, he lets nothing touch his frozen heart...until a smoldering encounter with a beautiful stranger ignites his passion. One night isn’t enough for a man who takes what he wants—and Luca will do whatever he can to possess his mysterious temptress... Police detective Gabrielle Fawkes lives for revenge. She lost everything at the hands of an unforgiving ruler of the Vegas underworld. Now she wants to see him six feet under. But when a near-fatal attack leads her into Luca’s arms, what was meant to be one night of unbridled passion becomes something forbiddingly more. Luca has his own agenda, but when strong, determined, kick-ass detective Gaby sets her sights on her target, Luca feels compelled to stand by her side and protect her at all costs. However, pursuing danger comes at a high price—and both Gaby and Luca must work together in order to eliminate the dark enterprise that threatens them.
REVIEW
It has been a while since I have read a romance with a male love interest who was involved in the mob so when I got the chance to read Luca I was so intrigued to find out more about this story and on top of that I had heard nothing but fantastic thing about Sarah Castille books. I was so excited to dive into the story and it was fantastic.
We mainly follow Luca & Gabby and these two could not further apart, well at least career wise , with Gabby being a Detective in the police force and Luca being a crime boss , however the minute these two saw each other they just clicked and nothing could keep them apart . The romance was sexy , like red hot sexy , however the steamy hot sexy times wasn't the only thing that made them stand out to me, it was the way they opened up to each other , these two people who for most of these lives have built these walls around themselves because of all the pain they have went through in there lives being vulnerable with each other was one of my favorite parts of this book . I felt that Sarah Castille did an excellent job creating a romance that was sexy, that made your heart race and at the same felt very real , raw and emotional at the same time. There was so much going on this book , this book constantly kept me on my toes, constantly kept my eyes rushing from word to word needing to know what would happen next . This story was fantastic and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in the Ruin & Revenge series. If you love all these things in your books you should definitely get a copy as soon as you can.

EXCERPT
“What are you going to make?”
“I’m not going to make anything.
We’re going to play.” He pulled out a cucumber and she gave a horrified gasp.
“Luca Rizzoli. We are not playing
with food.”
Well, that was unexpected. His
kitchen was a world of culinary possibilities of the most sensual kind. Maybe
she didn’t understand the kind of pleasure he wanted to give her.
“I see you looking at the fridge.”
She glared at him. “I know how your mind works. And just in case you get any
ideas, nothing is going inside my vagina that is meant to be consumed.” Her
hands found her hips and Luca tried not to frown.
How were they going to have fun with
all these rules? How would he demonstrate his sexual prowess? Show her he was
an adventurous lover? He had everything he needed right here. His last shipment
had included eggplants, some smooth-skinned cucumbers, summer squash, zucchini,
and for extra sensation, corn-on-the cob.
“Bella
. . .” He opened his hands, used his most cajoling tone of voice.
Gabrielle shook her head and crossed
her hands in front of her pussy. “Sorry. This right here is a no-vegetable
zone.”
“Meat?” He asked hopefully. He had
an abundance of pepperoni, sausage, and hot dogs, although he suspected the hot
dogs wouldn’t do the trick after she’d had the pleasure of his substantial
girth.
“I’m particular about my salami,”
she said dryly. “I’d feel like I was cheating on you.”
He looked around the kitchen,
assessing the limited options now available to him. An empty kitchen was an
opportunity not to be missed, and with the cleaners coming in the morning to
ensure everything was up to hygiene standards, he could indulge one of the
fantasies he’d had when Gabrielle first walked into his restaurant. An idea
grew in his mind and the mental image made him hard.
Rounding the counter, he pulled her
gently up from her stool.
“What if I kissed you here?” He
feathered kisses down her neck to the hollow at the base of her throat,
inhaling the lingering fragrance of his body wash on her skin. After his
mother’s dinner last night, he’d taken her home and almost made her late for
work this morning because he couldn’t get enough of her soft, lush body.
Her face softened. “Yes, I suppose
that would be okay.”
“And here?” He moved lower, kissing
his way down the V of her T-shirt to the crescents of her breasts.
“Yes.”
“Your clothes are in the way.”
Sliding his hands under her shirt, he eased her T-shirt over her head, then
removed her bra and tossed her clothing on the counter.
“Better.” Without warning, he
descended on her left nipple, licking and sucking the bud into a tight peak.
Her breath caught and he could see the pulse quicken in her neck.
“Luca.”
He loved hearing his name on her
lips. After giving equal attention to her right breast, he knelt before her,
pressing kisses over her stomach as he tugged her jeans and panties over her
hips. “And here, bella?” He kissed the soft down at the apex of her
thighs. “Can I play here?
Her hands dropped to his head and
she fell back against the counter as he helped her step out of her clothing.
“Yes.”
Luca smiled as he stood. “Close your
eyes,” he whispered.
“What are you going to do?”
“Trust me.”
