From the # 1 New York Times and International bestselling author comes a richly moving story about heartbreak and guilt, second chances and hope. Full of familiar, fan-favorite characters and no two people more deserving of a happy ending, Fire In You will burn bright beyond the last page…
Jillian Lima’s whole world was destroyed in a span of a few hours. The same night her childhood love, Brock ‘the Beast’ Mitchell, broke her heart, her life was irrevocably altered by the hand of a stranger with a gun. It takes six years to slowly glue together the shattered pieces of her life, but Jillian is finally ready to stop existing in a past full of pain and regret. She takes a job at her father’s martial arts Academy and she’s going out on her first date since a failed relationship that was more yuck than yum. Jillian is determined to start living.
She just never expected Brock to be a part of her life again. But he’s firmly back in her life before she knows it, and not only is he older, he’s impossibly more handsome, more teasing and more everything. And when he sees Jillian, he’s no longer capable of thinking of her as the little girl who was his shadow growing up or the daughter of the man who gave him a second chance at life. He sees the woman who’d always been there for him, the one person who believed in him no matter what.
Brock knows she’s the one he should’ve made his, and what begins as a tentative friendship quickly turns to red-hot chemistry that sparks a flame that burns brighter than lust. Falling for Brock again risks more than her heart, because when the sorrow-filled and guilt-ridden past resurfaces, and a web of lies threatens to rip them apart, the fallout could lay waste to everything they’ve fought to build together, and destroy the dreams of those they care most about.

I love Jennifer L Armentrout books so when I heard about fire in you I was thrilled and even more excited when I got the arc of this book. I dived into this story as soon as I could and I loved it! Fire In You is another fantastic book by Jennifer L Armentrout

In this book we follow Brock and Jillian and I love them together! .Brock and Jillian have known each other for years however due to a tragic incident there friendship fell apart , six years later they meet again and this is really where the story takes off . Jillian has been through a horrible  experience and she is determined to start living again I just loved that, characters like Jillian I don't see very often in the books I read, so it was refreshing seeing her like her in this story,  she has been in love with Brock for so long in the past and she has had her heart broken because of that so seeing this man again you could just imagine the mixed feelings she has . Brock feels immense guilt for what happened to Jillian and he is honestly willing to do whatever he needs to ,to make it up to her and just to get back into her life. When they started working together at Lima Academy I felt like this was the most perfect thing for them because it created an opportunity for them to become closer again and it was just fantastic to seeing them together honestly every time I saw them in a scene together I was happy . The romance in this book was was perfect if I had describe it 3 words they would be  sexy , sweet and swoonworthy .Honestly there were times in this book that they were just too cute for words, they were just adorable and perfect for each other , I was rooting for them no matter what happened in this book.

Seeing Brock and Jillian story play out over the course of this book was just amazing. I loved every moment of the story. I love all of these characters! and also that we got the characters from other books in the series ,we got to see what was going on in there lives now and it made me so happy . I'm so sad to see this series end and at the same time ! can't wait to see what J L Armentrout writes next. Fire In you is a sexy, sweet ,funny, heartwarming, emotional story. This book is one of my favorite reads of this year. If you love all of these things in your books I suggest you get a copy

“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me,” I gasped.
Brock’s eyes widened and then he threw back his head, laughing loudly and freely. “Ms. Lima, language.”
My face turned blood red. Did he seriously just say that to me?
Andre’s smile was a bit sly as he eyed the both of us, and I knew—I just knew—he was fully aware of the fact I had no idea Brock was going to be here. Just like my mother had to have known and just like my father had failed to mention.
My family was a bunch of assholes.
“Okay, I’m going to go—uh, pretend to do something,” Andre said.
Brock’s brown eyes were trained on me as he stepped aside and clapped the shorter man on the shoulder.
“Good luck,” Andre said to him, and my hands balled into fists.
The half-grin appeared on Brock’s mouth and he waited until Andre had disappeared. “I don’t think I’ve ever heard you use the word ‘fuck’ before.” His gaze flipped to the ceiling. “Well, there was the one time you tripped over your own feet and banged your knees off the pool deck. Pretty sure you yelled ‘fuck’ then.”
“This is not happening,” I murmured, heart thumping heavily in my chest.
“Actually, I think you yelled ‘fuck’ when your uncle Julio caught you trying to sneak out of the house. You remember that, right? You were trying to follow me—”
“You can stop,” I snapped, “with the walk down Fuck Lane.”
That grin increased, spreading into a full smile that caused my stomach to dip. I placed steadying hands on my desk. “Please tell me I’m dreaming right now.”
“If you were dreaming, I’d hope we’d both have less clothes on.”
“What?” My jaw hit the top of the table. Was he flirting with me? Not entirely surprising. If you looked up “flirt” on the internet, I was sure it had a picture of him grinning the panties right off of some chick, so I guessed a fiancée wasn’t going to change that.
Chuckling, Brock leaned against the door and folded his arms across his broad chest, stretching the material of his white button-down. My gaze dropped. Yep. He was wearing the damn Chucks. “You’re not dreaming, Jillian. I’m the new General Manager and you’re my assistant manager.”
“There is no way,” I said dumbly.
He glanced around, arching a brow. “Is it really that surprising?”
I wanted to scream yes, but I should’ve guessed it the moment I saw Brock Friday night. Anger swept through me. Not only did I feel incredibly stupid for not figuring out Brock was my new boss, I was extremely pissed everyone in my family had basically set me up.
Taking a deep breath, I asked, “Can you give me a second? Please?”
Brock didn’t move for a moment and then he unfolded his arms. “Your wish is my command.”
My fingers curled around the edge of the desk to stop myself from throwing something at him. The moment he stepped out of my office, I hurried to the door and closed it behind him. Storming back to the desk, I pulled my cellphone out of the little slip inside my purse and jabbed my finger on my father’s contact.
He answered on the third ring, his accented voice way too cheery for this time of the morning. “Jillian, my baby girl, are you—”
“Brock is the new General Manager?” I whispered-yelled into the phone.
“You’re at the office already? It’s not even eight-fifteen— Wait, Brock is already there too?” He laughed. “That is surprising.”
“That’s not really important right now.” I took a deep, calming breath. “Brock really is…he’s the GM?”
“I don’t think you really need to ask that question,” he responded. “Especially when you know the answer to it.”
Closing my eyes, I held the phone so tightly I was surprised it didn’t shatter into a million pieces. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Would it have a made a difference?” he asked.
Yes. A thousand times yes, but I didn’t say that. I refused to admit that. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“You’re going to have to ask him that.” There was a pause. “I didn’t offer you this job because I thought you couldn’t handle working with him or that you would be calling me on your first day, thirty minutes before you should even be there.”
“And I’m not saying that to hurt you, hon. You know that. Hurting you is the last thing I’d ever want to do.” There was another gap of silence while I contemplated knocking the computer off my desk with a ninja kick, and then Dad said, “You can do this.”
Then he hung up on me.
What in the hell?

Damn but she was a beautiful woman. She was also something he needed to keep his hands off of. No matter what Big Tag said, he did not date women he worked with. He didn’t really date anyone. He played with subs. When the need got too great, he found a partner for a brief time. He didn’t sleep with anyone. He fucked, and that was starting to get very old. Empty. “So you said something about house rules?” Tiffany leaned forward, her elbows on the bar. “Are these housekeeping rules or like big bad Dom rules?” “I don’t suppose I differentiate.” He couldn’t let those big eyes of hers soften him up. It had almost happened at her apartment. When she’d stood up after he’d spanked her and there had been tears running down her face, his impulse had been to reach for her. He’d wanted to draw her in the way he had that night when she was drunk and she’d cried on his shoulder. He’d wanted to smooth back her hair and promise her everything was going to be all right, that he could fix things for her. It was a path that was sure to lead to discomfort for her and humiliation for him. “I prefer a clean living space. I don’t like for things to be messy. I expect that you will keep your things in their proper place.” Because no matter how hard he tried, he could still trip. The legs he now walked on were only a year old. He’d spent the first two years in a wheelchair. The Garden’s Wheelchair Dom. He still wasn’t completely comfortable in the prosthetics. “I can try,” she said with a frown. “I’ll be honest, I’m not the world’s biggest neat freak.” He’d been able to tell that from the state of her apartment. It had been cluttered, a bit dusty. With the exception of her easel. That had been perfectly taken care of. He rather wished he’d taken the time to ask to see her art. He’d seen one painting that night he’d taken her home. It had been a painting of three laughing girls, the swirling colors so vibrant he could hear them giggling as they splashed in a puddle on a rainy day. The figures had been more impressions than photographic reality, but he’d known what she was trying to convey. “If you cook I’ll clean, and the other way around.” He’d started a list in his head on the long drive. The drive that would have been considerably shorter had they left at the proper time. As she’d sung along to sugary pop songs after she’d changed his radio, he’d sat and considered how to proceed. With caution. Lots and lots of caution. “I’m not the best cook in the world,” he continued, “but I can manage. Most nights, of course, we’ll be eating at Top as our training sessions for the new restaurant will last long hours, but I would prefer to eat breakfast here rather than skipping the meal or picking up fast food. Eric made sure the fridge was stocked with a few items I requested.” “Breakfast.” She gave him a little salute with her free hand. “I can manage that.” “In addition to our duties at Top, we will now be taking on the additional task of appearing to be a long-term D/s couple, and we need to talk about what that should look like.” Another thing he’d been thinking about ever since that moment the trap had closed around him. “You know you probably could have gotten us out of this assignment. It’s much more difficult for the Dom to say no. The sub always holds the power. Is there a reason you didn’t use yours today?” “I didn’t want to,” she replied simply. “I don’t have a full-time Dom and I thought it would be interesting to see what that’s like.” Was she thinking at all? “You know nothing about how I function as a dominant partner.” “And now I do,” she replied. “You like rules and schedules and you tend to be very fair.” “I can be quite exacting in my standards.” “I can be quite flexible,” she shot back as the sexiest smile crossed her face. “I’m serious about that. I can still do the splits and everything.” “You’re far too reckless, Tiffany.” He didn’t appreciate recklessness so why was she like a siren calling to him? If he listened, he would end up wrecked. “You’re far too uptight, Sebastian.”

Elizabeth Hoyt is an amazing author so when I got the chance to read Duke of Pleasure early I was thrilled. I dived into the story as soon as I could and I loved it .Duke of Pleasure is another fantastic story from Elizabeth Hoyt

In this book we mainly follow Hugh and Alf. Hugh is trying to bring down a group called the Lords of chaos and these people are just seriously messed up, when you find out what they do ,it  just depraved and to do this he hired Alf who is known as the Ghost of St Giles for her reputation  for dealing in secrets and information  to help get more information about this group. The fact that Alf is woman is a secret, she disguises herself as a boy to help her job, however when Alf and Hugh kiss it changes everything between them. I love the romance between Hugh and Alf  , no matter what happened in this book I was  rooting for them .Seeing their story play out over the course of this book made me so happy. It was sexy and swoon worthy ,I feel like when you read this book you definitely have the urge to fan yourself and smile at the same time lol. Elizabeth Hoyt creates unforgettable romantic in her stories.

I love the time period this book was set in, I felt completely submerged in it , I constantly say that it  would be cool to time travel back to these times to see what they were actually like and I feel like Elizabeth Hoyt is so detailed in her setting that she creates this realistic  beautiful image in your of what things would looked like , how people would act, how they dress  ,how the balls would look etc . I felt like I was traveling around with Hugh and Alf through London and I loved every minute of it .

Duke Of Pleasure with a sexy ,thrilling historical romance and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book Elizabeth Hoyt writes . If you love all of these things in your books I suggest you get a copy when it comes out
 Q&A With Elizabeth Hoyt

1 Where did the Idea  for Duke of Pleasure  come from?
Well I’ve done the Ghost of St. Giles—a masked vigilante in eighteenth century London—in several of my previous books, but the Ghost had always been a man before. I thought it would be interesting—especially for this time period—to make the action hero a woman. Alf has appeared in several of my Maiden Lane books so readers are familiar with her. She’s sharp, quick-witted, maybe a bit too brash and brave. She seemed perfect to take over the job of nighttime avenger of the poor and downtrodden. And then, of course, her hero had to be someone very upright, a no no-nonsense sort, but a man who could respect her and accept her for the competent woman she is. Hugh is the perfect match for her.
2 Can you carry us through what  what your  writing process looks like ?
Usually I come up with characters first and then plot later—sometimes a lot later. I outline the book—more or less—and then write a gawd-awful first draft and send it to my poor, poor editor. She tells me what needs work, I revise one to three times (or four. Duke of Pleasure was a record making five times I believe. It was a truly hellish book to write.) and when we’re both completely happy with the manuscript then—and only then—does it go to the copy-edit stage.
3 We all love books  where what are some of your  favorite books?
Well, that’s a broad question. ;-) Most recently I’ve enjoyed: The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchet, Carry On by Rainbow Rowell, Ransom Canyon by Jodi Thomas, Edge of Obsession by Megan Crane, Career of Evil by Robert Galbraith, and Waiting on You by Kristan Higgins
4 Describe Duke of Pleasure In 5 words?
Girl saves the hunky guy.
5 What are you working on right now writing wise?
I’m writing Duke of Desire, the twelfth and last book in the Maiden Lane series. It’ll be out August 2017.
