Author Bio

Rachael Tonks is a new to the scene author with a love of books, and a particular love of the romance genre. As a child Rachael could always be found with her head in a book, but it wasn’t until the beginning of 2015 when Rachael’s love of books really took over. Reading spurred on her desires to put pen to paper, and write down the story of the characters screaming for their story to be told.

Starting out her career with a new adult romance novel, she is currently working on her second novel which she plans to release mid-2016. Rachael lives in the steely suburb of Sheffield, in the north of England with her husband, 3 beautiful children and her 2 crazy dogs. She loves nothing more reading with a good cup of tea and is self-proclaimed chocoholic!

INTERVIEW

1. Where do you  inspirations / book ideas from ?I wished I had some fantastic story to tell you about where the idea came from, but unfortunately I haven't. I woke from a dream, where something similar had happened, and the story grew from there. I had read a fair few books, and realized that this story was quite unique, and the more the story developed the more I had to write down my ideas.
2. Can you take us through what  a writing day looks like for you?Writing for me is very much a hobby/sideline but I I try and dedicate as much time as I can to writing. I work during the day and I am Mom to 3 beautiful children who take up most of my spare time! I find myself working on my books in the evenings and most weekends. 
3. A lot of  Beautiful Broken girl  takes place in a high school setting.If you could go  back to  being  in high school  right  now   and your boyfriend could  be any fictional  character who would choose ? Easy! My top high school Boyfriend would be Travis Maddox without a shadow of doubt!
4. We all love books here tell me what are of your favorite books ?Pulse and Collide by Gail McHugh -I absolutely love this series, I love Gail's writing style and Gavin is my ultimate book boyfriend!  Hopeless by Colleen Hoover, because the twist and turns and the feels this book gives me is like nothing else I've ever read!Blurred Lines by Chloe Walsh, because that gasp moment in this book hit me like a ton of bricks.
5. Can you tell us more about the beautiful broken girl series ( is that correct name for the series ? lol) Of course! I aim for there to be just one more book in this series. The second book is full of action and you get to see more of Kennedy's background! I really feel like the characters are taking over in this one, and it takes a direction I never expected to go in. Without giving too much away, there are a lot of revelations and relationships you won't expect!
6. what are you  working on right now books wise? I am working on the second book, but I have drafts on a third book which will be a standalone book.

1. What  would Cole Give Kennedy For Valentines Day?Okay so I think  Cole would buy Kennedy a New iPod Because she loves music and its the one thing she does to distract her mind when the thoughts in her head are bad!
2. Which one of Characters would most likely  become  writer ? and what type of book would it  be  ?Abbey would most definitely become a writer. She absolutely loves reading, she's a real bookworm. 
3. Which character do you  relate to most?I would relate to Abbey the most I think, I'm so loud and outgoing and sometimes don't think before I speak, and the whole loving book thing makes her most like my personality

1. Favorite season ? I love spring. I like it when the weather turns slightly warmer and nature starts to bloom. here in England we know it's spring when the daffodils bloom.

3. IF you  could travel to one time period what would it be ?  Probably the Greek period. I love Greek mythology.
4. if you  could invite   5   people  living   , dead  or fictional  to dinner who would they  be ?I'm not currently reading anything, but the last book I read a few days ago was the third part to the Never never series from Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher.
5. if you  could invite   5   people  living   , dead  or fictional  to dinner who would they  be ? Firstly I'd invite my Mom. She passed away when I was just 25, she hasn't seen my 2 youngest children, and I'd give anything to sit and chat with her and know if she's proud of me.I'd invite Channing Tatum and see if he could give me a little lap dance! Ha I'd also like Brad Pitt to turn up, wearing his outfit from Troy the movie, because come on we all love him in that outfit!To round up and make this less of a 'hot men only dinner' I'd invite both Ellie Goulding and Taylor Swift, because I absolutely love their music and Ellie's current album is massively inspirational to the 2nd book which I'm currently working on.
