ARC Book Review - Keepsake By Sarina Bowen

SYNOPSIS
There's a first time for everything.

Lark Wainwright used to be fearless. Her life was a series of adventures, each one more exhilarating than the last. But her recent overseas adventure was one too many. Now she’s home and in one piece. Mostly. But her nights are filled with terror.

When her best friend offers her a stay at the orchard in exchange for help at the farmers’ markets, Lark jumps at the chance to spend fall in Vermont. But her nightmares don’t stop. Desperate to keep her fragile state a secret, she relies on the most soft-spoken resident of the Shipley Farm to soothe her when her dreams prove too much.

Zachariah is a survivor, too. It’s been four years since he was tossed aside by the polygamist cult where he grew up. He’s found a peaceful existence on the Shipley’s farm, picking apples and fixing machinery. But getting thrown away by your own people at nineteen leaves a mark on a guy. He doesn’t always know what to make of a world where movie quotes are the primary means of communication. Before hitchhiking to Vermont, he’d never watched TV or spoken on the phone.

Actually, there are a lot of things he’s never done.

Zach and Lark slowly grow to trust one another. One night they become even closer than they’d planned. But Lark may still be too broken to trust anyone. When she pushes Zach away, he will have to prove to himself that he's good for much more than farm labor.

REVIEW

I'm huge fan of the True North series ,so when I got a chance to read Keepsake early I was thrilled . I got into the story as soon as I possibly could and I loved it, Keepsake was another fantastic story by Sarina Bowen

In this book we follow Lark and Zach . Literally from the  very first time they saw each other I  started shipping them together immediately. Lark has just been through an extremely traumatizing ordeal and comes to Shipley's Farms ( I want to visit this farm so bad !) to get away from all of her stresses .In this book we get to see how what happens her really affected her , she has her ups and downs and I loved that we got to see that , I felt like Sarina Bowen did an amazing job writing Lark characters , watching her go through this journey was just amazing honestly by the end of the story I wanted to give her the biggest hug I was just so happy for her. Zach spent a lot of his life in a Polygamist Cult until he was kicked out so he did not have any access to things like Television , technology , etc. I found Zach  to be such an intriguing character and I absolutely adored him  he was kind , honest ,loyal and lets  not forget ridiculously good-looking. I loved the romance between Lark and Zach watching them fall in love over the course of this book was fantastic, I rooted for them no matter what happened. I had the biggest smile on my face knowing that they had ending that they truly deserve. With as sexy romance , characters that you  wont want to let go off , the beautiful setting of Vermont and plot that will have you wrapped up in Lark and Zach 's story . Sarina Bowen creates a fantastic story with Keepsake.

Keepsake was a sexy , emotional ,heart warming story. I can't wait to see what Sarina Bowen writes  next. If you love all of these things in your books  I suggest you get a copy when it comes out October 25, 2016
