ARC Book Review - Children Of The Veil By Colleen Halverson

Elizabeth Tanner has one goal: to find her mother in whatever dimension she’s imprisoned. But to do that, she has to face her estranged father, and to do that, she needs a shot of whiskey…or seven. But after an attempt on her life and the return of her lost love, she wakes up with one hell of a hangover and a whole barrage of questions.

Finn O’Connell doesn’t know why the Fianna want him to aid Elizabeth in her search, but he’ll take any excuse to be near her again. Together, they dive headlong into the shadows of her mother’s secrets and find themselves embroiled in a Fae rebellion that will test Finn’s loyalties and their love.

With the Faerie realm verging on chaos, Elizabeth and Finn will embark on a quest that will lead them from the streets of Chicago to London’s seedy Fae underground. But rescuing Elizabeth’s mother means journeying to a place Finn can’t follow, and Elizabeth is forced to make a choice between finding her at last or saving her own soul.

When I got an arc of  Children of The Veil I was so excited .I dived into this story as soon I could and I thoroughly enjoyed this book !!

In this book we follow Finn and Elizabeth . I loved these two together they had a relationship  in the past  and one of the things that I love about  characters who have a past together Is all the back story you get along with it .The main reason why they are working together is because Elizabeth wants to find her mother and Finn is also sent on a mission to find her mother as well however its  not necessarily for the same reason .The romance between Finn and Elizabeth in this story was just fantastic , watching them reconnect with each other was wonderful  every moment we get to spend with them weather they were  bickering or  have sweet or sexy  moment was just  fantastic and made want to root for these two more and more. There was so much happening in this book so much I  was just fascinated with the paranormal/supernatural/Fantasy  aspects of this story I  constantly want to know more and I love when that happens while  Iam reading . There was never a dull moment in this  book  we were constantly on the go,  constantly learning more , I had so much fun reading this story .

Children Of The Veil was a sexy , action packed , thrilling ,magical story . Iam very interested  to see what Colleen  Halverson writes next.If you love all these things in your books I suggest you  get a copy when it comes out October 24 ,2016
